Crossing Guard

The Borough of Demarest is currently recruiting for several School Crossing Guards at the Police Department.  School Crossing Guards work approximately 10 hours per week, Monday through Friday during the regular school year at designated locations in the Borough assisting elementary, middle, and high school students.

 

Work times are based on school scheduling needs. 

 

Application requirements:

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent 

• 18 years of age or older

• U.S. citizen and a NJ resident

• Valid Driver’s License 

 

Each applicant will be required to undergo a physical examination.

 

Training and equipment will be provided.
