Overnight Parking
* The Borough has amended the Overnight Parking Ordinance 1108-22.

"WHEREAS, the Council of the Borough of Demarest has determined that, in order to afford greater convenience for residents, especially those with narrow driveways, multiple vehicles and/or other on-site parking restrictions, it is appropriate to permit all-night parking in the Borough subject to certain conditions and regulations."

Please fill out the corresponding boxes with your contact information, should the Demarest Police Department need to contact you regarding your vehicle for any reason such as:

Emergency road or utility work

Theft, accident or damage to your vehicle

Any other unsafe or traffic related condition
Conditions of Overnight Parking:

Vehicle must be legally parked.

Vehicle must be removed from roadway if road is covered by snow (Demarest Borough ord. 166-26)

The Demarest Police Department shall review and update the excluded street parking list annually.

Overnight Parking is RESTRICTED at ALL TIMES on roadways listed in the link below

Fill out this form ONLY if:
The vehicle belongs to a guest of the residence and is parking overnight for more than 2 consecutive nights
OR
The vehicle belongs to an entity owned by or employing a person residing at the address in immediate proximity to the residence
All other overnight parking is allowed in the borough excluding restricted roadways and other provisions as outlined in the above Borough Ordinance​​​​
